Minimum Requirements:

Vocational/Technical School beyond high school and at least 3 years of job-related experience or equivalent.
Working knowledge of software applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Dreamweaver, Tech Illustrator and CAD are required.
Uses excellent written communications skills; working knowledge of word processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and to perform detail-oriented work

Position may require travel.
Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.

URS is currently seeking a Graphics Illustrator to support URS at the Coast Guard facility in Glen Burnie, MD.

The Successfull Candidate Will:

1. Interact with Project Manager and Customers to determine requirements and provide recommendations
2. Assist other graphics staff in solving graphics/illustrating problems
3. Provide input to Instructional Design Team con¬cerning appropriate audio and visual cues, objects, and interactivity
4. Use multiple software applications to develop interactive courseware from design concept to finished product
5. Use multiple software applications to develop technical drawings for electronic or print based technical manuals
6. Use multiple software applications to develop graphics for proposal writing projects
7. May use CAD equipment and software to draw and plot large schematic drawings from engineering sketches
8. Comply with all applicable and relative environ¬mental, safety and health policies; procedures; directives and orders


Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
