Minimum Requirements: Requirements/Expectations: • Education: High school graduate or demonstrated equivalent. • Experience: 5+ years of experience in General Maintenance or 3+ years with journey level license. • Previous experience utilizing Microsoft Office software like Word, Excel, and Power Point • Attention to detail and excellent follow up skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Friendly, cooperative, customer service-minded attitude; team player. • Ability to read and understand repair manuals and drawings. • Ability to analyze problems, recommends solutions, and initiates repairs. • Experience working with and understanding work instructions. • Some travel may be required • Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
Physical Requirements • Have the ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. • Have the ability to regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladder, stepladders, and stairs. • Must be able to differentiate colors pertaining to wire color coding. • Have the flexibility to bend/stoop, squat, and kneel repetitively during shift. • Have the ability to move in a 90-degree fashion on a repetitive basis for a shift. • Have the ability to stretch/reach on a repetitive basis for a shift. • Have the ability to walk extensively throughout the plant for a shift.
Special Requirements: • Coping with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable levels of performance and overall contribution are maintained.
Preferred Requirements: • Experience working in a Computerized Maintenance Management environment preferred

Position Description: The position is to preserve and enhance the appearance of the facility. Such duties may include but not limited to replacing lamps and ballasts, painting, general carpentry, drywall repair, minor plumbing, hanging pictures, carpet repairs, office moves, door hardware, ceiling tiles, etc.
Essential Functions: • Performs general maintenance and repair duties on a variety of facility systems • Under general supervision, performs tasks that reflect substantial variety and complexity. • Reviews service requests for repairs and maintenance, determines nature of problem, and executes appropriate solution. • Coordinates work with outside contractors. • Ensures all appropriate building standards are maintained at a high level of quality. • Operates hand and power tools and mechanical equipment effectively and safely complies with safety requirements including use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). • May assist higher level technicians in completing work assignments • Seeks assistance from higher level technicians and supervisor/management when necessary in order to complete work with highest level of customer satisfaction • Responds and provides service and feedback to the customer on all work orders while assuring compliance to codes, regulations and industry standards. • Recommends measures to improve maintenance methods and equipment performance. • Understands company policies and enforces safety regulations. • Safely performs functions of the position including following proper safety guidelines such as job hazard analysis, lockout/tagout, and wearing PPE as required. • Flexible in the day-to-day activities and scheduling for the benefit of the customer. • Complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) • Other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor
