Oakleaf currently has an opportunity for a National Accounts Setup Associate to support Oakleaf Network Support in the pursuit of matching and maintaining the most beneficial vendor service provision to customers.


Execution on complete New Services Process



  • Bid/Negotiation with vendors including prepare and send bid template with bid guidelines to the Pricing Team.

  • Awarding and Contract Management

  • Schedule follow up and Delivery confirmation

  • Follow through and Up-sell through the service duration

  • Creating and Entering all specs in a accurate and timely manner

  • Perform Service Match, EB Scans and MAS Extracts to determine current activity & serviceable locations for potential national accounts.



Managing Multiple Tasks



  • Personal queue management of deadline-driven requests

  • Analyzing bids

  • Negotiating with multiple contractors

  • Communicating with municipal representatives



Relationship & Ownership



  • Taking ownership of specific client needs and building strong relationships

  • Managing the customer expectations

  • Selling the added value of OAKLEAF's services

  • Building relationships with vendor partners and executing consistently on contract management and problem resolution matters

  • Work closely and professionally with National Account Managers, Program Managers, Pricing Team, and Waste Management Market Area/3rd Party Personnel.


  • All candidates MUST possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.

  • Must have a very strong understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Previous experience in Sales, Data Entry and/or Managing Customer expectations is beneficial.

  • Attention to detail and adherence to the New Services Process is critical.



  • The ability to work efficiently in a high-paced, deadline-driven environment while communicating effectively through written text and verbally is essential.

  • Two or more years experience and strong knowledge base of Waste Management's business and its service offerings.

  • Ability to proactively identify and resolve inquiries/problems in a timely manner. Can gather and review information skillfully.

  • Very strong Vantive and MAS understanding may be required.

  • Strong Math skills, such as adding/subtracting/division/multiplication, as well as determining discounts, ratios, and percentages along with knowledge of basic accounting terminology are required.

  • Excellent organizational, project and time management skills required. Ability to meet deadlines

  • A successful New Services Set up and Maintenance Producer need to have strong organizational, self-management and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple customers with accuracy.

  • Ability to professionally lead customer calls/meetings.

  • Candidates must be able to develop alternative solutions to problems, work well in group problem- solving situations, and use reason even when dealing with emotional topics.

  • Is able to adapt to changes in the work environment, can change approach or method to best fit the situation. Must be able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.

  • Maintain confidentiality and must be able to balance team and individual responsibilities.
