Job Description:

I. Job Summary

Assists in the development of strategic plans to ensure the continued successful growth and profitability of the organization. Contributes to the development of the functional strategy and long-term plan. Identifies, investigates and evaluates acquisitions/divestitures, licensing opportunities and strategic business alliances that are in line with the organization's long-range goals. Recommends process, product or service improvements to management based on research and evaluation. May lead project teams and lower level analysts to achieve milestones and objectives.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

Conducts complex financial analyses, operational and strategic evaluations, proforma alternative strategies and scenario modeling for new or existing products and services in competitive markets.

Assists in the identification of competitive landscapes and the associated long-term planning and strategy to optimize the company's position. Conducts pricing studies and modeling for new or existing products and services.

Provides analytical support and a new perspective on existing solutions, business strategy and analysis.

Prepares and presents to project team and management written and verbal reports and presentations on findings and recommendations.

Participates on multi-departmental project teams formed to address specific business issues such as project economics, asset acquisitions and divestments. Engages key company constituents in the planning and implementation of assigned projects and integration of business strategy.

No supervisory responsibilities are required.

IV. Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.

A. Education and Experience

Required: Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or similar area of study. Must have at least five years related work experience. Qualified internships during a masters program may count towards the experience required.

Preferred: Masters Degree and three years of experience in a business planning, financial analysis or related strategic role.

B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required

Demonstrated knowledge of financial analysis, performance analysis and business forecasting concepts.

Exceptional analytical skills
