Project Manager-Substation/Transmission Line - Englewood, CO
The Challenge? Help to meet the ever increasing demand for Electric power. Our Project Manager position will offer you an exciting opportunity to help our utility Clients provide safe, clean and reliable sources of Electric power to heat homes and schools, run factories and provide goods and services that we all depend upon. Each day you will use your expertise in Substation and Transmission Line Engineering to help our Clients meet the power needs of their customers.
Our Project Manager-Substation/Transmission Line:

Leads growth and development of Substation and Transmission Line projects and Clients in the Southwest region of the US.
Monitors regional industry trends and identifies actions by the Enterprise to effectively serve Clients.
Stewards contract negotiations.
Manages Substation and Transmission Line engineering projects.
Monitors Scope, Schedule and Budget for projects and manages Client needs.
Provides Forecasts resource needs.
Assists in identifying and hiring new technical staff.
Supports regional offices for Substation and Transmission Line projects.
Supports bidding and estimating efforts in Englewood officel.
SPECIAL NOTE: CH2M HILL will not sponsor a work visa (e.g. H1B, etc.,) to fill this position.

Basic Qualifications

Minimum 12 years in progressive experience in an A/E environment serving Power Delivery clients.
Current assignment as a Project Manager for Power Delivery (Substation & Transmission) projects.
Demonstrated client relationship/management skills.
Demonstrated Business Development skills.
Strong leadership & people management skills.
Good technical skills.
Demonstrated team player

Preferred Qualifications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE:

15 years experience strongly preferred.
Demonstrated experience in engineering services contract negotiations.
Demonstrated experience in field assignments/startup/construction strongly preferred.
EPC experience strongly preferred.
Demonstrated experience in management of both Substation & Transmission engineering projects preferred

EDUCATION:

BSEE or BSCE from accredited college or university is required.

REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATION:

PE Strongly preferred
PMI Certification a plus.

Degree Required

Bachelors or 4 Year Degree
