Job Description: 
Minimum Requirements:

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Facilities Management preferred
• Licenses/Certifications: Professional Engineering License, Stationary engineer/Boiler operator; Wastewater treatment license preferred
Experience:
• 10 years site utilities and facility O&M experience
• Data center experience preferred
• Experience with large facilities supporting continuous operations.
• Knowledge of utility systems including water treatment (both waste water and potable water), boilers, large chilled water facilities, power and cooling technologies.
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (i.e., MAXIMO)
• Proven direct management experience successfully managing a staff.
• Excellent communication skills
Requirements:
• TS/SCI clearance required

Preferences:
• Experience with Government contracts and FAR


Job Description:

URS Corporation is looking for a Utilities Manager to join their Operations and Maintenance team. The Program consists of multi-year full service Operations and Maintenance contract.
Job Duties:
• Responsible to provide technical leadership of the on-site Operations and Maintenance team and to provide day to day technical support for all Operations and Maintenance activities. Systems include Storm water retention and control, sanitary sewer and waste treatment systems, potable and make-up water treatment systems, building heating, and cooling systems, boilers, elevators. Additionally he will manage the general site maintenance.
• Provides technical leadership for day to day support of all building wide energy management and control systems, electronic instrumentation, variable speed drives and other electronics installed within the facility.
• Supervise, coordinate, provide leadership to and review the work of assigned staff.
• Responsible for insuring that the necessary resources to achieve work completion milestones and contract deliverables are available
• Responsible for monitoring performance; fulfillment of maintenance and operational requirements; ensuring quality; and timely response to various customers
• Responsible for leading the development of work processes, tools, and knowledge resources that support the mission of the facility
• Establish and maintain a preventative maintenance program for major system components and equipment.
• Participate in any key problem resolution efforts including identification of any problem or system failure; root cause failure analysis; code compliance studies; and safety compliance
• Interface with customers on site representatives on a regular basis for support of O&M activities
