Minimum Requirements:

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in ES&H-related field (i.e., Engineering, Chemistry, Biology or Quality Assurance or other sciences) or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Licenses/Certifications: ESH certifications preferred
Experience:
• 10 years ESH management experience in large industrial facility
• Data center experience preferred
• Experience with facilities supporting critical missions with continuous operations
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven leadership and direct management experience successfully managing a staff.



Preferences:
• Experience with Government contracts and FAR
• TS/SCI clearance


Job Description:

URS Corporation is looking for an ES&H Manager to join their Operations and Maintenance team. The Program consists of multi-year full service Operations and Maintenance contract.

Job Duties:
• Ensure compliance with all company and contract ES&H policies, procedures, and practices
• Implement and coordinate ES&H programs, including policies and procedures related to training, hazard analysis, audit/assessment, permitting, recordkeeping, and inspection
• Resolve compliance problems, questions, or complaints received from customer, corporate or oversight entity
• Perform inspections to ensure workplace conditions and work practices conform to ES&H standards and best practices
• Participate in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) reviews and inspections
• Ensure workplace conditions and practices comply with applicable federal, state, local and customer/client ES&H regulations and standards
• Develop and implement an effective document control system which will maintain safety, health and environmental records and other project documentation
• Evaluate and report metrics to measure status and progress of ES&H programs
• Perform accident and incident investigations with root cause analysis; prepare corresponding reports and manage to closure
• Provide leadership to the ES&H staff on the project
• Develop plans, procedures, and policies to continuously improve ES&H programs
• Develop, coordinate, and execute an effective safety training program
