Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in relevant scientific discipline (e.g., environmental science, soil science, agriculture, wetlands management, geology or any earth science related field). • Minimum 8 years of experience working in the field of environmental science, environmental consulting, or environmental management. • Minimum four years of environmental studies field experience • May require Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA, Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER), or state Department of Transportation (DOT) specific certifications. These may be obtained within the first year of employment if required. • Must have experience providing environmental compliance auditing, environmental reporting (e.g., EPCRA-TRI), environmental planning (e.g., NEPA, SPCC, P2), and permitting (e.g., RCRA, NPDES, Title 5) support. Candidate will have experience working with Department of Defense Clients. Requires thorough understanding of relevant environmental regulatory programs. • Ability to work with Microsoft Office Tools and Hazardous Materials Management Databases. • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance. • Requires the ability to work directly with DoD clients on client's site; mentor junior-level staff; and manage teams and supervise staff to complete assignments. • Requires the ability to generate well-written, technically sound reports requiring minor to no report core modification (structure, general content) from senior technical personnel. Job Description: Incumbent Responsibilities: • Reports to a Program Manager and functions as part of a multi-disciplinary/multi-firm team working directly for a DoD client in Crane, Indiana. Candidate will provide Environmental Management Support Services and team leadership to the client. • Meets day-to-day client needs to support of their Environmental Management program. • Interacts with other departments to solicit support of other disciplines such as engineering, programming, or environmental science. • Responsible for meeting budget requirements established by the Project manager.
