Minimum Requirements: • Minimum Associate's degree in Information Technology with additional IT technical training. • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience. • Requires the ability to collect, enter, manage, and query large volumes of data. Requires the ability to develop and test data collection and analysis tools; conduct data queries and analysis; define requirements, create solutions, as well as resolve design and scope issues. • Requires demonstrated experience using .NET, Microsoft Visual C++ or VB, Javascript, or jQuery. Requires experience using Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle. Must be familiar with SharePoint and ARCGIS. • Requires the ability to work directly with DoD clients on client's site. • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance. • Requires good oral and written communication skills with external and internal clients of varying levels of computer literacy, and excellent problem solving skills. Job Description: The Infrastructure & Environment Division of URS is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Data Management Specialist for contingent employment in the Crystal City Arlington, VA office. The position is contingent upon the successful capture of a support program at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in IT. Incumbent Responsibilities: • Reports to a Program Manager and functions as part of a multi-disciplinary/multi-firm team working directly for a DoD client in Crane, Indiana. • Provide Data Management services for the client. • Meet day-to-day client needs efficiently and cost effectively to manage data in support of their Environmental Management program. • Interact with other departments to solicit support of other disciplines such as engineering, programming, or environmental science. • Responsible for meeting budget requirements established by the Project Manager.
