Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Information Systems or other related field and at least 5 years of job-related experience or equivalent. Excellent written communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; three years configuration management experience including data entry and report generation; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required. Working knowledge of the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Capability Maturity Model (CMM) as it relates to configuration management is required, as well as work experience in CMM Level II or higher certified organizational unit. Position may require travel. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.


Job Description:

This opportunity is contingent upon award to URS of the Predator Mission Aircrew Training Systems (PMATS) contract, anticipated in June, 2012.

This opportunity is contingent upon award to URS of the Predator Mission Aircrew Training Systems (PMATS) contract, anticipated in June, 2012.

Provide and coordinate program acquisition, engineering, logistics, and configuration management planning and coordination support to PMATS customer configuration manager(s). Act as senior group leader and team manager in the execution of routine but varied administrative duties in support of Configuration Management, or as the senior technical expert in specific Configuration Management task element(s).

1. Establishes and chairs a Configuration Control Board to control system configuration and change activities.
2. Implements, maintains and updates a CM system to effectively support change activity across all system components.
3. Uses the CM system to generate, and maintain at the TSSC, internal Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) records for all hardware and software.
4. Assist engineers and technical professionals in the writing, editing, and publication of various types of documents such as test plans, test reports, and survey reports.
5. Track and monitor flow of all documents from inception to distribution of final copies. Identify and correct problem areas as they arise. Utilize appropriate computer software for document text production.
6. Investigate and implement best ways to produce documentation electronically.
7. Establish and maintain electronic and/or hardcopy data library of documents and work order files for documents received for processing.
8. Develop, evaluate, document, and maintain support tools designed to increase productivity.
