Minimum Requirements:
• A Secret clearance will be required.
• Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other scientific or technical discipline directly related to the labor category and 10 years experience of which at least eight (8) years must be specialized. Equivalent experience can be substituted for a degree
• A minimum of 5 years experience in JAVA programming.
• Must have excellent interpersonal oral and written skills to enable close interaction with clients.
• Able to grasp the situation and work with minimal supervision
• Have a flexible approach and the ability to work as part of a team
• Familiar with software design patterns.
• Experience with Oracle and PL/SQL plus tuning.
• Experience with J2EE architecture and Web development
• Experience with Apache Web Services, Maven, Ant, Hibernate, Java, JSF, PrimeFaces, JavaScript, XML, JUnit
• Experience with Struts and Spring frameworks, Java Web Services, and single sign-on a plus
• Familiar with versioning control, i.e. CVS Be versatile, determined, and energetic;
• Experience with relational database, Oracle 11G and later, MySQL
• Development Tools: TOAD, SQL Plus, Eclipse, JDeveloper, CVS, WebLogic, GlassFish, and Oracle Application Server, Bugzilla

We are looking for a Java Developer to join our team in Falls Church, Virginia!
• Responsible for developing software for maintaining and evolving the DISN Video Services Web Scheduler application that provides a web based capability for authorized users to register and schedule their video teleconferencing facilities worldwide.
• Responsible for analyzing client functional requirements and developing code to satisfy these requirements.
• Understands the customer perspective;
• Take project responsibility from beginning to delivery.
• Work with technical staff to understand and to develop resolution of software problems.
• Resolve customer complaints with software and respond to suggestions for software modifications or enhancements.
• Participate in the development of software user manuals.
• Assist in the training of less experienced software development staff and may act as a team leader on less complex projects.
