Minimum Requirements: Basic Minimum Qualifications: 1. High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent. 2. 3+ years experience as a technician troubleshooting and repairing equipment in an industrial setting supporting production or facility maintenance or 2+ years in trade school experience. 3. Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
Additional Preferred Qualifications: 1. Experience operating material handling equipment. 2. Experience maintaining doors, docks, dock levelers and locks. 3. Experience performing work on overhead doors and service doors. Experience using a multi-meter. 4. Experience using a multi-meter. 5. Basic HVAC skills. 6. Basic carpentry skills. 7. Basic plumbing skills. 8. Basic electrical skills. 9. Ability to work safely with basic hand tools.
This position may require a valid Driver’s License. This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization. All positions with URS will require the ability to obtain a security access badge at our client’s location. All Positions with URS may require various shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules.
Physical Requirements •Have the ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs. •Have the ability to regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladder, stepladders, and stairs at least 10 times during shift. •Have the flexibility to bend/stoop, squat repetitive during shift. •Have the ability to regularly kneel repetitive for shift. •Have the ability to move in a 90-degree fashion on a repetitive basis for shift. •Have the ability to stretch/reach on a repetitive basis for shift. •Have the ability to walk extensively through out the plant for shift. •Have the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress.
Special Requirements: •Coping with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable levels of performance and overall contribution are maintained.

This position will support the daily function within our maintenance department. Responsibilities include but are not limited to safely maintaining battery changing area for material handling vehicles, preventive and predictive maintenance, maintenance of all doors, dock and levelers, perform rest-room and sewer maintenance, maintain water systems, perform general maintenance such as maintain carpet, wall and wall coverings, office furniture, lighting, minor carpentry and minor electrical. This position also may require 24/7 emergency support.
