Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, urban planning, engineering, environmental science, emergency management or related area of study.

Two years minimum experience in professional roles involving emergency management and technical writing.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to make independent decisions.

Job Description:

The IE Division of URS is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Planner for immediate employment in the Germantown, MD office (working remotely from the Minneapolis, Minnesota office location).

The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in emergency management and planning, specific to the FEMA Public Assistance Program.

URS is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects. The incumbent can look forward to projects including programmatic analysis and publication development.

Incumbent Responsibilities:

• Programmatic analysis under FEMA's Public Assistance Program
• Development of programmatic publications and training courses
• Other contract and program management tasks
