CH2M HILL Senior Benefits Generalist Careers - Denver - Englewood, CO

The challenge? Be at the center of a global leader in full-service engineering, consulting, construction and operations. Our HR Benefits Professional 3 career path provides you with an opportunity to support CH2M HILL's benefit projects and initiatives.

You will provide expertise using your strong background administering health, welfare and particularly the retirement plans.

The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of directly applicable work experience working closely with HR staff and vendors to resolve employee/retiree questions and concerns.

You will use excellent customer service and interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with internal customers at all levels of the organization.

Our HR Benefits Professional 3 is responsible for the following:

Respond to all benefit plan (health and retirement) inquiries from employees/retirees and internal customers with a high degree of confidentiality via our case management tool.
Work closely with HR staff and vendors to resolve employee/retiree questions and concerns.
Serve as lead operational resource for 401(k) plan and provide support to retirement plan staff.
Support the benefits group's processes and projects, including annual open enrollment.

Basic Qualifications

Excellent customer service, written and oral communication, organization and interpersonal skills

4 to 6 years of written and oral communication, organization and interpersonal skills

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

4 to 6 years of benefits administration generalist experience, with a solid understanding of benefit laws and regulations (including ERISA, Internal Revenue Code, etc.) and a strong background in the administration of defined contribution retirement plans

Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

In addition to the basic qualifications, the following are also preferred:

8 years of benefits administration generalist experience

Demonstrated ability to work effectively within and across various departments on complex projects

Proven track record of successfully resolving complex benefits issues

Background in administering defined benefit plans

Demonstrated detail-orientation, self-motivation and ability to multi-task

Degree Required

Bachelors or 4 Year Degree
