Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering or related field preferred. Six or more years of testing experience working with aviation systems, simulation technology and other related technologies. Experience to include DoD modeling, simulation and technology. Possess knowledge of Microsoft Office & Microsoft Project. Possess strong communications skills, organizational skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Must qualify for and maintain a government security clearance.


Job Description:

This opportunity is contingent upon award to URS of the Predator Mission Aircrew Training Systems (PMATS) contract, anticipated in June, 2012.

Plans, coordinates and conducts moderately complex testing on various aviation and avionics systems and simulations during phases of development, integration and acceptance. Functions as the Point of Contact (POC) for all test related matters.
• Prepares and submits the PMATS System Test Plan to the government.
• Develops a PMATS Acceptance Test Procedure to verify all requirements of the simulator system/subsystem have been met.
• Monitors the initial configuration and parameters of equipment for system continuity.
• Assists in the investigation and resolution of testing issues in conjunction with other engineering and technical support personnel to ensure cost effective and efficient problem resolution.
• Designs, develops, implements and maintains test processes and diagnostic programs for assigned projects.
• Completes specifications and testing procedures for system upgrades.
• Documents deficiencies discovered during System Performance Evaluation
• Creates and maintains records of test progress and results.
• Prepares reports and presents results as appropriate to the customer.
• Works with customers to determine new or modified systems requirements.
• Assists lead engineer and management in writing proposals and follows through on implementation.
