Job Description: 
Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in planning, public policy, or related field;
• Minimum 12 years experience in a planning organization or consulting firm; significant CEQA and NEPA experience;
• Solid understanding of state and federal agencies regulatory compliance; Experience with Federal Agencies such as USACE, BLM, or DOI required
• The candidate will work in and manage staff in the Environmental Planning Department on various transportation, renewable energy, water resources, and city planning projects. The qualified applicant will be responsible for supporting project related tasks such as technical research, preparation of impact analyses and reports, document review, and other similar tasks. The candidate will be responsible for business development.
• Must have good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills;
• Marketing & business development experience;
• Strong management skill set required;
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel programs; Possession of a valid California driver's license.


Job Description:

Environmental Planning Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the group; as such, we are seeking candidates with a combination of technical, administrative and business development /client relationship skills. Manage the Environmental Planning Group staff, comprised of Project Managers, technical specialists and junior level planners. Manage group sales goals and staffing utilization; Business development and marketing in support of both new and existing clients; Manage/oversee staff marketing efforts; Prepare proposals and SOQs; Attend management meetings; Provide technical direction and oversight as needed.
