Minimum Requirements:

• MS in hydrogeology, with courses in geochemistry
• Minimum eight years of experience with contaminated groundwater and NAPL investigation, design and remediation. Data interpretation, presentation and reports generation. Knowledge of RCRA, CERCLA and groundwater regulations.
• Cost estimating and management of medium to large projects
• Must have valid drivers license.
• Must obtain negative results on drug screening performed in accordance with URS drug testing policy. Must successfully complete physical screening.

The environmental Division of URS is actively seeking a creative, highly talented (position title) for immediate employment in the Chicago office. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career as a hydrogeologist/geochemist, specific to contaminated groundwater, surface water, pore water, and NAPL investigation, design, and remediation. Incumbent Responsibilities:
• Organizes and conducts contaminated groundwater related investigations.
• Analyze data, prepares technical reports.
• Prepares feasibility of alternative design approaches, site conditions and regulatory agency specifications.
• Prepares cost estimates for remediation alternatives, and manages medium to large projects.
• This position requires the flexibility to serve as a cross-disciplinary resource to best serve the needs of the URS Corporation.
