Job Description: 
Minimum Requirements:

• High School Education or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience working on sewer collection systems and wastewater treatment facilities
• Must be physically able to perform work outdoors, on an active construction site, around construction machinery, and have the ability to access areas under construction as necessary to check work
• Must be able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Must have basic computer skills, and be able to use Word, Excel and effectively use e-mail
• Must be able to effectively document in writing daily construction activities using electronic report form
• Must have knowledge of construction techniques and testing procedures for the installation of sanitary sewers and have basic knowledge of construction techniques for cast in place concrete structures, and facilities construction
• Must be able to communicate effectively with Owner and residents regarding the schedule and scope of the work
• Current valid Ohio driver’s license required


Job Description:

• Observes work of contractor for general conformance with plans and specifications. Reports non-conforming work to the Contractor and Engineer.
• Records daily work activities and quantities of materials installed
• Take daily photographs of work progress and maintain photo log
• Communicates with local residents and Owner on the progress of the project
• Works with the design engineer to resolve field issues affecting construction
• Coordinates testing required and maintains records of testing
• Coordinates with Owner and Contractor for scheduling of equipment start-up and training
• Other duties as assigned
