Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a related simulation training technical/management field.. Possess seven years experience in a simulation training or related technical field of which at least four years must be as a quality assurance specialist. Possess experience in the development of quality policies into documented quality objectives, procedures, record keeping and data analyses with emphasis on continuous improvement in accordance with ANSI/ISO/ASQ 9001. Possess certification as an ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA). Supervisor y experience is desired. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Must qualify for and maintain a government security clearance.


Job Description:

This opportunity is contingent upon award to URS of the Predator Mission Aircrew Training Systems (PMATS) contract, anticipated in June, 2012.

Directs and manages the development, documentation, implementation and continuous improvement of a Quality Management System to assure the quality performance standards of PMATS management, operations, maintenance, logistics and administrative support, in accordance with ANSI/ISO/ASQ 9001:2008.
1. Observes and monitors all facets of PMATS hardware and software design.
2. Monitors all testing during contractor Engineer Verification Testing (CEVT).
3. Records and annotates all pass/fail results or deviations of all steps of the Acceptance Test Procedures.
4. Identifies quality discrepancies and works with PMATS personnel to implement corrective actions and provide follow-up monitoring.
5. Develops and maintains quality control records and conducts trend analyses to detect performance degradation
6. Works with PMATS customers, functional peer groups and government Quality Assurance Auditors to ensure project schedules and performance objectives are met, and to implement process improvements.
7. Design and implement test procedures and plans IAW government standards.
8. Maintain current files of all technical documents, instructions, procedures and requirements necessary for implementation of an effective quality assurance program.
