Job Description: 
Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a relevant discipline and 5+ years of experience in materials testing and inspection services. Or 10+ years of relevant experience in Material Testing and Inspection services. The position requires a strong project management experience and background in the same field. The position is based at Signet's Anaheim office and reports directly to the Southern California Regional Manager.
Qualities include the following;
• Good communication
• Well organized
• Contract management experience
• Strong technical knowledge of the construction process and materials testing and inspection

This position requires successful completion of the URS Project Management Certification program within 6 months of hire. This certification program is a series of learning modules and is available on-line through the URS Learning Management System at no financial cost to the employee.


Job Description:

The Project Manager is expected to support the overall day to day operations of the business through the management and acquisition of new materials testing and inspection projects, providing technical and contractual assistance/support to clients and maintain client relations, coordinating assignments for inspectors, reviewing inspectors’ field reports and time sheets, and proactively engaging in the Company’s health and safety program.

Additional responsibilities include:
• maintain & improve tracking systems for new business
• maintain proposal logs & marketing reports; perform cost estimating for proposals
• prepare proposals, letters, qualifications & proposal packages
• prepare and present reports concerning lead tracking and proposal activity
• issue contracts, subcontracts & purchase orders
• provide coordination of contract review by management and insurance carrier; project start-up packages
