Job Description: 
Minimum Requirements:

• BS in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics and 15-20 years of experience, or Masters and at least 10 years of related experience, or PhD and 4 years of related experience.
• CISSP certification or ability to obtain one. Maintain certifications.
• The position requires strong, experienced senior-level engineering, analytic, creative, technical and cyber security aptitude.
• Excellent oral presentation and communication skills regarding technical and non-technical concepts, and the ability to articulate the same in writing within the prescribed format (proposals, white papers, articles, etc.)
• Expert knowledge and experience in performing auditing functions addressing NIST, ISO 27001, IEEE, ITIL, CMMI, IEC, NERC-CIP standards, AGA, NRC, PCI and other Industry and Regulatory Compliance
• A solid foundation and understanding of the IC and DoD IA policy, with experience in implementing DoD Series 8530 and 8570 regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with IT/Cyber security architecture. design and implementation.
• Experience with high speed communications, communications engineering, and teleconferencing using commercial and military communications equipment, techniques, and protocols.
• Knowledge in the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Type 1 cryptographic products desired (not mandatory but desirable).
• Have a strong willingness to keep abreast of new technologies. Is a pivotal resource for the enterprise in addressing, coordinating, and executing IC, DoD CND, DoD IAVM and related DoD IA compliance activities.
• Provide administrative security support including preparing and delivering briefings, maintaining schedules, tasking, and action items lists while interfacing with government and program/project managers.
• Designs, implements and integrates cyber solutions that meet information technology solutions and systems within the government.
• Experience implementing and operating technical security solutions including firewalls, anti-virus, intrusion detection/prevention, continuous security monitoring, log analysis/archival, or VPNs is required.
• Must have an active and maintain a Top Secret/SCI Clearance.

Desired Skills and Specializations:
• Broad IP network and security engineering experience, including basic understanding of IP routing, quality of service mechanisms, MPLS, and IPsec architectures
• Understanding of 802.11, 802.15.4, Zigbee, EV-DO, Wimax, and mesh-radio
• Experience using penetration testing skills, application vulnerability testing tools to safely exploit complex interdependent systems, network protocol analysis, and threat modeling.
• Experience developing scripts to process large amounts of vulnerability or packet data.
• Travel of approximately 40 - 50%.

We are looking for a Senior Cyber Solutions Architect to join our team in Chantilly, Virginia!

The Senior Cyber Solutions Architect plays a key role in developing the company’s Cyber capabilities and solutions for the Cyber Campaign.

Performs as the senior cyber solutions architect with oversight for all cyber capabilities and integration requirements across the URS FS Information Solutions Group, to include both Federal Civilian and DoD sectors, as well as the greater URS Federal Services clientele and business units when required.

This person works with senior business unit leaders, Program Managers and Business Development leaders for both internal and external delivery technical teams to engage with clients, partners, and industry cyber solution providers to better understand and assess customer requirements, technology trends and capabilities, RFI responses and proposal preparation; the senior cyber solutions architect works closely with company support, engineering, contract, HR, and sales organizations, especially the Advanced Technology Group, and the Secure Cloud Computing unit.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Define technical cyber solution requirements and gap analysis of customer systems and procedures.
• Architect, implement, and integrate technical cyber/cyber security solutions, hardware, software, and services.
• Solicit, develop, and document cyber solutions based on customer, industry, and technical requirements.
• Contribute to assessments of the cyber capabilities of customer systems, services, and programs.
• Lead the test, migration, integration, and implementation plans for deployment projects.
• Maintain expertise on the latest hardware, software and service product solutions, and technical requirements of industry sectors.
