Minimum Requirements: · Bachelor's degree in environmental science, soil science, agriculture, wetlands management, land use or urban planning, geology or any earth science related field).
· Minimum six years of relevant work experience.
· Minimum three years of environmental studies field experience.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ideal candidate has extensive experience preparing or reviewing WSDOT environmental documentation for compliance with SEPA and NEPA; resource reports and permit applications.
Must be able to work with others to accomplish project goals.
Must have excellent written, verbal, and time management skills.

o Scope Discipline Reports (DR) and Technical Memos (TM)
o Visual DR/TM
o Safety DR/TM
o Geometrics DR/TM
o Geology DR/TM
o Draft and Finalize Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement
o Organizing and Participating in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings

o Interfacing with WSDOT, Contractor, and Design Team staff.
Individual will be responsible for delivering quality designs and reports in a fast paced environment. Individual is expected to be a team player and highly motivated, with strong communication and technical skills. This position is part of the Transportation Group in Seattle. The position will report to a Transportation Group Manager but may receive day to day direction from WSDOT Environmental Managers. EOE M/F/D/V
