• Experience with Connecticut and municipal agencies
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Basic knowledge of construction techniques required in the field and the potential obstacles that might be encountered.

The (Infrastructure & Environment) of URS is actively seeking a creative, highly talented (site civil / utility engineer) for immediate employment in the (Rocky Hill) office. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in (civil engineering), specific to (Water distribution system and Wastewater collection system Design, including general site design). URS is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects. The incumbent can look forward to projects including (utility, site and roadway design).
Incumbent Responsibilities:
• Prepare design drawings plans, sections, details, and profiles.
• Prepare contract documents suitable for bidding.
• Work on small projects or portions of larger projects.
• Prepare design calculations and construction cost estimates.
• Determine permitting requirements for projects.
• This position requires the flexibility to serve as a cross-disciplinary resource to best serve the needs of the URS Corporation. EOE M/F/D/V
