Job Description: 
Minimum Requirements:

Level of Education: High school Diploma
Minimum Years: 10years inspecting construction activities. Recent ADOT experience is required.
Certificates: ACI, ATTI
Knowledge: Has a solid understanding of construction practices.
Technical Skills: Writing, Computer,
Performance Skill: Fully qualified technician performing a variety of senior level tasks. Knowledgeable within all operations of construction items including asphaltic concrete, PCCP, box culverts, bridges, traffic control, storm drains, implementation of SWPPP, and other minor incidentals.


Job Description:

Will be responsible for the day-to-day inspection, quality assurance of projects with minimal supervision. His major responsibilities will consist of the following:
• Will collect information from various sources to fully understand and enforce contract documents such as standard specifications, plans, and special provisions.
• Ability to perform and check the accuracy of complex computations including those performed by other staff.
• Is proficient in the use of ADOT software such as PEN, Quantlist CPE and also Word, and Excel to document various construction activities.
• Ability to analyze the contractor schedule to plan out the inspection of projects in their entirety.
• Ability to conduct pre-activity meetings for various construction activities such as asphaltic concrete, PCCP, striping and major structures.
• Expert understanding of equipment and technology used to gather samples and information from the field.
• General understanding of the project delivery process and the interaction between the disciplines within a group.
• Understanding of supplemental agreements such as change orders and letter of agreemtns. With an emphasis on Force Accounts.
