Minimum Requirements:
BS in Engineering or Environmental Science or related field.
Minimum of ten years experience in project management for environmental and/or engineering projects in the Oil & Gas and/or Pipeline industry. Minimum of five of those years in Oil & Gas and/or Pipeline Business Development or substantial industry knowledge and/or relationships.
Job Description:
This position includes a regional leadership role in business development and a range of program/project management and technical responsibilities, including the following:
Responsible for Oil & Gas and Pipeline client opportunity development and execution in Oklahoma and the surrounding geography.
Identify, pursue, develop, and close sales opportunities with URS' private sector and public sector clients with a focus on environmental and engineering opportunities for Oil & Gas and Pipeline clients.
Lead development of relationships with Oil & Gas and Pipeline customers in Oklahoma and the surrounding geography.
Develop and maintain relationships with Oklahoma regulators, including the Oklahoma Corporation Commission (OCC), Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT), and Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (ODEQ) concerning O&G/Pipeline issues.
Develop high profile involvement in national, state and local professional organizations associated with the O&G/Pipeline industry.
Lead business development and client service relationships with URS' existing regional and national Oil & Gas and Pipeline customers. Coordinate business development efforts with operations management.
Lead and assist with proposal efforts for major project opportunities in conjunction with regional and national Oil & Gas and Pipeline teams.
Develop and maintain relationships within URS' national Oil & Gas and Pipeline teams to ensure a seamless service delivery team for our clients and to diversify URS service offerings.
Perform as Project Manager on a variety of Oil & Gas and Pipeline environmental and/or engineering projects.
Provide technical support for environmental and/or engineering projects.
