Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or related field required and minimum three (3)years of program management and/or financial management related experience. Strong financial management background required. Experience with DOD acquisition and/or life cycle support contracting process desired.

Must be a strong team player; have good written and verbal communication skills; excellent knowledge of Excel; excellent organizational skills; and ability to perform detail-oriented work in a fast-paced environment are required. Positive, problem-solving attitude is a must. Candidates must be able to multitask; effectively manage time; ability to recognize and research issues and work accurately under firm and quick-turnaround deadlines. CostPoint experience is desired.

Position may require some travel.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance if needed.

We are currently seeking a Financial/Budget Analyst for our Arlington, VA office.

Responsibilities:

•Serve as a Financial/Budget Analyst for Team Submarine (TSUB) programs at the URS office in Crystal City, on-site at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC, and other locations as required.
• Create financial models for detailed operating budgets in order to track contract performance and analyze trends affecting budgetary needs.
• Develop budgets for Technical Instructions (TI’s) for Navy approval.
• Develop and maintain contractor deliverables including monthly financial reporting.
•Work closely with Program Management, Contracts Administrators, and Project Analysts to ensure financial performance on contracts and conformance to budgetary limits.
•Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
