CH2M HILL Summer Mechanical Engineer Internships – Anchorage, AK

The challenge? Provide safe, sustainable energy solutions for our clients and communities worldwide. Our Summer Mechanical Engineering Interns will be exposed to a variety of technical and business energy functions with ever-increasing levels of complexity. You will receive a well-rounded, “real world" experience while participating in diverse and interesting energy projects to develop your skills. You should be a self motivated and responsible individual that has reached Sophomore standing in Mechanical Engineering by September, 2012.

Our Summer Mechanical Engineering Interns:

Will have Sophomore standing by September, 2012 in Mechanical Engineering
Manages his/her own quality of work, meets deadlines, and adheres to assignment scope of work
Possesses a positive attitude and is dependable and punctual
Always presents himself/herself in a professional matter to managers, co-workers and our clients
Engages in development programs designed to broaden knowledge and sharpen skills

Additional Information: This position is part of a community outreach program. Preference will be given members of an Alaska native corporation. Please indicate on your resume or cover letter if you are a member of an Alaska native corporation and if so, indicate the name of the corporation. CH2M HILL will not sponsor an employment visa (e.g. H1B, etc) to fill this position.

Basic Qualifications

Applicants must be pursuing a BA/BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from accredited College or University
Applicants must have attained Sophomore standing by September, 2012
GPA minimum (accumulative): 2.90 (out of 4.0)
