Job Description:

Piscataway, NJ - Environmental – Sr. Design Engineer

Our Piscataway, NJ office is looking to hire an Environmental – Sr. Design Engineer to support work in the New Jersey and New York Metro Area.

Duties:

· Support Program Manager of large remediation program with engineering design for remediation sites and working with other project managers to manage/present data, and interact with broad range of stakeholders;

· Manage engineering design efforts for remediation at various client sites across the region;

· Apply knowledge of remediation processes and practices to ensure that the technical integrity and remediation goals are achieved with respect to cost and schedule accuracy, health and safety, quality, subcontract management, and general risk management;

· Provide engineering support to program and project staff to assist with planning and execution of subsurface investigations, remedial activities, and operation and maintenance of remedial systems and engineering controls;

· Develop feasibility studies, remedial decision documents, treatability plans and reports, remedial action designs, opinions on probable cost and construction estimates, and related activities including task order management;

· Assist in proposal preparation;

· Direct and mentor science and engineering staff; and

· Manage preparation of and provide QC on project deliverables.

Requirements:
B.S. in Engineering (Masters preferred)
New Jersey P.E. License and at least 5-years of experience conducting remedial design in New Jersey.
NJ LSRP eligible (Temporary/Permanent LSRP Licensure preferred).
