Job Description:

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field or demonstrated equivalent.

Must have Texas Professional Engineering License, Professional Geology License, or other professional license.

Minimum seven years of relevant experience and a background in environmental compliance (air, water, waste), remediation or air quality to fully leverage existing URS business in the area.

Must have prior successful business development experience and good communications, customer service, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Must be able to develop strong relationships and accounts with clients.

This position requires the successful completion of the URS Project Management Certification program within 6 months of hire. This certification program is available on-line through the URS Learning Management System at no financial cost to the employee.

Must be able to support the URS and client safety culture.

Job Description:

The Engineering Manager will manage the proposed URS Beaumont,TX branch office. The successful candidate will be responsible for both business development and supporting new and existing project work using technical and business development resources from Houston and other URS offices (Lake Charles/Baton Rouge).

This position will initially manage 1-3 mid to junior level staff, primarily in environmental project work.
