Minimum Requirements:
• A professional engineer with a minimum of twelve years of consulting experience in the design and analysis of large diameter water and wastewater transmission pipeline systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Colorado PE or the ability to obtain one within six months.
Additional Qualifications:
• Experience with conducting pipeline analyses, preparing construction plans and specifications, and performing construction engineering services associated with large diameter transmission projects.
• Have an existing favorable working relationship with regional water conservation organizations and wastewater authorities.
• Effective written and verbal communicator.
• Proven experience working a with multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Successful project manager.
• Ability to work independently, think critically and proactively, and work efficiently in a team oriented fast-paced environment with multi-disciplinary teams and on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Experience working with multidiscipline engineering staff, CAD operators, and project teams on water and wastewater projects is required.
• Experience with successful proposal writing, proposal management, and public presentations.

Job Description:
The position is for an individual with twelve or more years of engineering consulting experience that is willing to work as part of a team and help grow an existing water and wastewater design group.
The position emphasizes analysis and design of a variety of water and wastewater transmission projects. Experience with water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, and lift stations is desirable. The position also includes master planning, preparation of design drawings and specifications, calculations, as well as directing the work of junior level staff.
The position includes overseeing and coordinating work efforts of multi-disciplinary design teams and communicating with clients. The position requires interfacing with existing local and regional clients and involvement in marketing activities.
