Job Description:

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum Bachelor's Degree or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, skills, knowledge, abilities and experience.

Four years of road & bridge construction engineering inspection (CEI) experience having performed/assisted in project related duties (i.e., LIMS, progress and final estimates, EEO compliance, processing Construction Contract changes, etc.)

Should exercise independent judgment in planning work details and making technical decisions related to the office aspects of the project.

Should be familiar with the Department's Procedures covering the project related duties as stated above and be proficient in the computer programs necessary to perform these duties. Shall become proficient in Multi-Line and Engineering Menu.

Prior experience as a CEI Contract Support Specialist on FDOT projects.

Applicant is expected to exercise initiative and independent judgment in the solution of work problems. Qualifications include the ability to communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing).

Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
