AECOM's Building Engineering practice offers a holistic approach to guide responsible and productive use of the land. Our practice includes design, master planning, environmental and ecological planning, strategic planning and economic development. We integrate these areas of expertise on projects of all scales and contexts. Some of our clients are private developers creating communities or world-class destinations. Others are national and local governments seeking to manage their natural and cultural resources. AECOM is currently seeking an experienced noise analyst in our Los Angeles, office. Duties associated with this position include the preparation of noise analyses and modeling of stationary and mobile sources. Some travel to conduct field reconnaissance surveys within the continental United States may be required.

Skill Requirements The successful candidate will be hard working, team oriented, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
Experience Requirements 5 to 10 years prior experience pertaining to the use of acoustic design in buildings, noise control equipment, structure and airborne noise mitigations and noise models and preparation of CEQA (NEPA)-related noise analyses is desirable.
Education Bachelor of Science degree or higher in environmental sciences, or closely related field is required.
