Job Description: 
Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or related field.
• Or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, skills, knowledge, abilities and experience.
• Minimum eight years of relevant industry experience, including 2 years of experience in construction management of design-build wastewater treatment plant, at least 2 MGD capacity.
• California licensed engineer or architect.
• Knowledge with fast-track construction; expediting the process of shop drawings and RFI's; understand computerized scheduling; review and process change orders
• Understanding building codes; familiarity with permit implementation.
• Must have a negative drug result on required drug test.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.


Job Description:

Candidate will be proposed for the construction management of the design-build 2 MGD wastewater treatment plant in San Luis Obispo County. This position will give presentations/interview in-front of potential clients.

Duties include but are not limited to:
• Oversees the delivery and issue of materials, tools, and equipment; worker productivity and safety; and the quality of construction.
• Monitors the project safety plans and implementation of safety plans for own employees, as well as that of contractors.
• Provides Field Inspection Services.
• Develops and implements the Construction Quality Control Plan (CQC)
• Defines contractors' responsibility for quality and identifies when it is not being met, plus develop corrective procedures, and issues required notices of non-compliance.
• Monitors Contractor compliance with the quality level expected for the project.
• HR Management
• Works closely and proactively with HR for recruitment, selection, and performance management, including performance planning and evaluations, promotions, discipline and terminations.
• Manages, supports and evaluates each individual with the goal of achieving his or her maximum potential.
• Encourages and facilitates commitment, team spirit, pride, trust and cooperation within the organization and with customer groups.
• Safety
• Confirms that the contractor has prepared, and is implementing, a safety program as required by the contract documents.
• Maintains the safety of persons and property, as well as security of working areas and work materials.
