Minimum Requirements:
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.
2. 8+ years experience working in electrical/mechanical repair in a manufacturing environment, including at least 2 years of CNC machine Tools and PLC controls experience.
3. Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
1. 2+ years experience troubleshooting and diagnosing CNC and Robotic machine systems.
2. 2+ years experience supervising a multi-skilled technical workforce.
3. 2+ years experience troubleshooting and diagnosing Allen Bradley PLC’s such as SLC 500, SLC 5000, Micro Logix, Control Logix, etc.
4. 2+ years experience programming Allen Bradley and or Siemens PLC’s.
5. 1+ years experience with the development and programming of a factory automation system.
6. 2+ years experience troubleshooting and diagnosing Variable Frequency Drives.
7. 2+ years experience troubleshooting and repairing components up to 480V 3 phase.
8. 2+ years experience managing new installation, validation, and start up of new manufacturing or assembly equipment in a steel manufacturing environment.
9. 2+ years experience in troubleshooting or calibrating 4-20ma circuits and components.
10. Experience with SAP is a plus.

Job Description:
URS has a second shift Electrical/Mechanical Technical Supervisor I position available in Winston-Salem, North Carolina!
The Electrical/Mechanical Technical Supervisor will be the electrical/mechanical subject matter expert for the CNC Machine Tools, manufacturing equipment. This position will support the daily function of supervising and developing the multi-skilled technical workforce. Core responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, validation of new manufacturing equipment, directing the work flow and performance of the production maintenance team, and troubleshooting & diagnosing CNC Machines (lathes, Mills Boring machines and Shapers). Experience trouble shooting and programming PLCs is required.
