Minimum Requirements:

Degree in science or engineering with minimum 15 years direct experience in pipeline industry operations and EHS requirements. Demonstrated ability to develop business opportunities in engineering/ environmental consulting and successful project and client management experience. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be proficient with MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Ideal candidate must have excellent understanding of PA environmental regulations, particularly as they pertain to pipeline operations and development. Other important regulatory knowledge may include Oil and Gas, Solid Waste, Mining, and Water related
regulations in Pennsylvania. Candidate must have project experience working with clients on pipeline projects.

The candidate has the support of technical experts in virtually any discipline or field, and will be linked to appropriate business lines through URS' practice groups to help identify opportunities.


Job Description:

Responsible for building upon existing internal and external relationships and develop new ones to maximize the capture of new work in the areas of support to pipeline companies. The candidate will have an established practice and a broad network of local, regional, and corporate resources and staff to build upon. Responsible for the use of technical and regulatory experience in all areas of pipeline operations and development, from siting and permitting through design and construction.

Responsible for preparing effective proposals and oral presentations for the purpose of selling URS' services to clients. The candidate for this position is expected to be a visible presence in the local business community representing URS, and will benefit from success in achieving goals.

This position will be part of a multi-disciplined team of professionals working on all aspects of pipeline projects and will be supported by URS's civil and environmental engineers, geoscientists, biologists, and other staff of over 500 throughout Pennsylvania to help expand services and client base.
