Minimum Requirements: Associated degree in Information Technology with additional IT technical training and/or certification, or demonstrated equivalent of education and IT-related experience.
Minimum of 6 years of computer aided design experience including developing standards, providing software support to users and monitoring and assisting users in mainting consistency in design products.
Must have experience with installing, administering and troubleshooting software applications.
Must be proficient in supporting AutoCAD and 3D modeling software. Job Description: Responsibilities include:
Supports collection of user requirements and analysis. Applies standard practices and techniques in specific situations, recognizes and addresses discrepancies, as well as follows software development life cycle (SDLC) process. Troubleshoots problems related to data quality and database applications. Works with appropriate personnel to resolve system issues. Performs work that involves standard software development life cycle (SDLC) processes, with relatively few complex features for which there are precedents. Conducts peer reviews and makes technical presentations. Supports development of technical documentation. Offers recommendations for innovative approaches to small segment of broad tasks. Develops and tests systems. Defines requirements, creates solutions and resolves complicated design and scope issues. Leads development of technical documentation. As a fully competent Information Technologist in all conventional aspects of the assignment, plans and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria.
