Job Description:  CH2M HILL Environmental Program Manager Careers – Englewood, CO
The challenge? Help save and protect the one and only Earth we have. Our Program Manager jobs provide you with an opportunity to manage all tasks under a federal remedial action program. Each day you will manage multidisciplinary teams in delivery of environmental remediation projects. You should be a strong communicator and self-motivated professional with at least 20 years of experience in managing projects involving multiple methods of site remediation and site management/characterization; have conducted remedial investigations, feasibility studies, engineering evaluations, remedial designs/actions, or site characterization following RCRA and CERCLA guidance; have a BS in Engineering or related field (preferably have a MS); have previous federal client experience; and have a desire to grow personally as well as professionally with Program Manager job.

Our Environmental Program Managers:
  • Are the primary contact for our client and are responsible for overall work progress and technical performance for the program.
  • Lead and manage the program team through all phases of program planning, mobilization, execution, and closeout consistent with established program delivery processes to meet the scope, schedule, budget and other specified requirements stated in the contract.
  • Participate in the business development activities leading to the award of the contract, including client relationship development, program-specific positioning activities, teaming arrangements, proposal preparation, orals presentation, and contract negotiation.
  • Meet or exceed margin targets, overall project budget and schedule, client and team satisfaction, and comply with all internal and contract reporting requirements.
  • Mentor and coach junior level staff.
  • Lead and support safety plans.
  • Serve as a technical leader for the site remediation and revitalization practice.
  • Preferably have construction experience.


CH2M HILL will not sponsor an employment visa (e.g., H-1B visa, etc) to fill this position.

Basic Qualifications

  • BS degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science or related field; MS degree and professional registration preferred.
  • 20 years of environmental experience, including experience managing projects involving multiple methods of site remediation
  • Previous federal project experience
  • Recent (within the last 5 years) experience managing multiple large projects ($2M +) or programs ($15M+) preferably with some projects in Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, and/or North & South Dakota

Degree Required

Bachelors or 4 Year Degree

Preferred Years of Experience

20-30
