We are looking to hire a Wholesale Account Manager to support the core operational processes of new business initiatives for The Body Shop. This position is responsible for formulating strategies that achieve wholesale account and employer goals, developing new business strategies and retaining established client relationships and building new business, setting up customers and interact daily with various levels of internal and external customers. This person would also create marketing concepts, problem resolution, handling administrative issues and developing proposals.


Key Responsibilities :



  • Manage day to day account relationship and customer interaction.

  • Create account specific assortment and promotional strategies.

  • Prepare new product information forms for each customer as required.

  • Work with Retail Academy to provide product training documents and other training support as needed.

  • Project Management – manage the planning, scheduling and execution of special programs to deliver on time and on budget.

  • Provides account demand forecasts by product to Global Demand Planning team on a quarterly basis

  • Prepare/Update New Product Information Sheets for each customer and send MSDS sheets for new products as required by each customer.

  • Partner with Brand team on PR or Visual Merchandising requirements for each account.

  • Partner with Retail Academy on training development and execution.

  • Manage account P&L statement including initial budgeting and forward forecasting.

  • Generate WTD/MTD/YTD reporting on wholesale turnover and retail sales by account.

  • Provide product level sales analysis by wholesale account

  • Adhoc analysis as needed


Qualifications and Requirements :



  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5-7 years account management or related experience, ideally in a wholesale or retail environment. Working knowledge of the supply chain and order management process

  • Experience with demand forecasting and EDI systems. SAP system experience is a plus.

  • Strong PC skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

  • Strong time management, interpersonal, prioritization skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.

  • Ability to adjust quickly to new processes and procedures.

  • Experience with budgeting and P&L management.

  • Advanced PC skills including detailed knowledge of Excel.
