Bachelor's degree preferably in a discipline such as: Operations Research, Economics, Logistics, Statistics, Human Factors, Civil or Industrial Engineering. In lieu of the Bachelor's degree requirement, other special or market-scarce skills may be substituted. A minimum of 4 years experience in an appropriate technical discipline, as well as, experience in the conduct of studies and analyses requiring application of such knowledge. Individual must possess: working knowledge of the use and application of appropriate automated techniques of the achievement of optimal analytic results; capability to perform in-depth single discipline analyses through the examination of existing information, the development of new information, and the documentation and presentation of findings; good oral and written communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required.

Job Description: URS is seeking a Computer Systems Analyst (Intermediate) to provide acquisition support services the U.S. Army and the Program Executive Office for Command, Control and Communications Tactical (PEO C3T) in Aberdeen, Maryland and various other locations.
Design, development, testing and evaluation of computer based systems. Experience in the use of current tools and techniques applied to the quality assurance, test and evaluation of hardware and software integration.
The Field Software Service representative will perform analysis of system operations utilizing various operating systems and database management systems. They will conduct fault detection, isolation, and correction of computer systems and individual peripheral devices. Routine duties will include system maintenance and administrative functions including: system configuration and modification; adding, removing and replacing hardware and software items; system startup, shut down, backup and restore; database administration and maintenance; and system user access control. Substantial background in communications and communications connectivity is desired. The Field Support Service representative may be required to deploy on short notice to perform extended TDY to CONUS/OCONUS in support of contingency operations.
This position is contingent and awaiting the contract to be awarded in April 2013.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Analyze and research material to gain a thorough technical understanding of a subject area supporting a task assignment. Task assignment may include one or more of the following analysis: strategic planning and analysis; demand and capacity analysis, economic analysis; regulatory analysis; safety and risk analysis, system operation performance analysis, and information analysis. 2. Assists in the preparation of oral presentations and written reports to management, indicating solution or range of possible alternatives in rank of desirability and probability of success when there is no single solution.
