Bachelor's degree preferably in a discipline such as: Operations Research, Economics, Logistics, Statistics, Human Factors, Civil or Industrial Engineering. Ten (10) years of direct relevant technical experience may be substituted for education. In lieu of the Bachelor's degree requirement, Five (5) additional years of relevant experience will substitute for a bachelors degree. A minimum of 10 years experience is required.
Good oral and written communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required.

Job Description: URS is seeking a Operations Analyst (Senior)to provide acquisition support services the U.S. Army and the Program Executive Office for Command, Control and Communications Tactical (PEO C3T) in Aberdeen, Maryland and various other locations.
Manages and directs the analyses of management problems, performs cost analyses and modeling, provides information requirements and the formulation of scientific solutions as directed.
This position is contingent and awaiting the contract to be awarded in April 2013.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Analyze and research material to gain a thorough technical understanding of a complex subject area supporting a task assignment. Task assignment may include one or more of the following analysis: strategic planning and analysis; demand and capacity analysis; economic analysis; regulatory analysis; safety and risk analysis; system operation performance analysis; and information analysis. 2. Prepare oral presentations and written reports to management, indicating solution or range of possible alternatives in rank of desirability and probability of success when there is no single solution.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
