Minimum Requirements:

• A BS degree in Science, Engineering or related field
• Professional engineer with a Colorado PE or the ability to obtain one within six months.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in working in the environmental, health, and safety field for oil and gas industry.
• Experience managing projects and professional staff.
*Experience working with local, state and federal agencies and regulations

Additional Qualifications:
• Ability to work independently, think critically and proactively, and work efficiently in a team oriented fast-paced environment.
• Have strong organizational and time management skills.
• Possess effective oral and written communication skills.
• Have multi-media environmental compliance experience with air, water and/or waste regulations.
• Have environmental audit experience
• Have field experience at oil and gas sites / facilities
• Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.


Job Description:

The position is for an individual willing to support oil and gas client base from the Denver, Colorado office. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in either environmental or health and safety (EHS) disciplines, specific to the oil and gas industry. Experience with other commercial or governmental clients is considered an asset.

The position involves a range of EHS compliance activities and related projects for oil and gas clients. Example projects cover air quality, water quality, waste and hazardous waste, and auditing projects.

The position requires working with multi-disciplinary design teams and involvement in multiple projects simultaneously.

The position requires preparing reports and technical documents. The position requires the candidate to assist with cost estimates and proposals.

The successful candidate will possess strong working knowledge of EHS compliance practices for the oil and gas industry, including relevant engineering and scientific practices and relevant standards.

The position will involve some direct interaction with clients. The successful candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will also support proposals and business development with key oil and gas clients as needed. This role presents opportunities for growth into a business development/project management role.
