Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or demonstrated combination of education/training and experience.
• Must have 4+ years’ experience in the construction industry.
• Field engineering experience in concrete, earthwork and structural steel construction

Preferred Requirements:

• Power plant construction experience is a plus

Additional Information:

• Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
• Relocation support is not available for this position.
• Temporary living allowance (per diem) may be available to offset additional living expenses at a temporary (second) residence when established eligibility criteria are met for an employee work location at least 100 miles away from his or her Permanent Residence.

URS Corporation is seeking a Civil Field Construction Engineer IV to be based in our Gallatin, TN field location.

Level Specific Responsibilities:

• Under limited supervision, conducts work requiring independent evaluation, selection, adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria.
• Is fully competent in most aspects of the job.
• Works on projects of substantial complexity.
• May assume lead responsibilities for a team of engineers and professional support personnel.
