TNC
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Performs a variety of administrative tasks in support of a technology project, which may include budget preparation, travel arrangements, meeting logistics, scheduling, reporting and tracking information for management.   S/he may also provide program support including assisting in the development of communication materials, conducting data research, and/or producing narrative reports as needed.  S/he may coordinate such activities with central administrative processes (facility management, telecommunications, general maintenance/repairs, central services, mailroom operations, central filing, telephone/public reception and/or printing) or maintaining office supplies, general purchasing requests and general office duties. S/he may also oversee some financial/accounting responsibilities. This position includes frequent interaction with staff at varying levels within the organization as well as vendors and consultants. S/he may prepare accounting forms and disbursement requests, monitor income and expense budgets.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree and 1 year related experience, Associate’s degree and 3 years of related experience, or equivalent combination.
  • Experience managing/coordinating the schedule and contacts of a manager using Outlook, Webex and conference calls. 
  • Experienceorganizing files, coordinating projects or meetings, or related activities.
  • Experience in customer service and/or written/verbal communication with staff, vendors, customers, the public, or others.
  • Experience using MS office, Word and Excel, and navigating the Internet.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong facility with MS Office suite required; experience with OneNote, SharePoint, and databases highly desirable.  Ability to manipulate, analyze and interpret data preferred.
  • Experience setting up all aspects of in-person or teleconference meetings, from coordinating schedules to arranging for space, food, and other logistical details.  Experience taking minutes a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to organize time, manage diverse activities and meet deadlines.
  • Service oriented.  Courteous, personable, tactful and able to deal effectively and sensitively with all levels of staff and public.
  • Demonstrated flexibility to changing situations and priorities.

ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION
  • This position is expected to last the duration of the technology project, a period of approximately two years. 
  • The position reports to the Director of Finance Systems but will support several members of the project leadership in furtherance of project objectives.
