Minimum Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.
• Experience: 8+ years experience in automotive field construction.
• 5+ years experience in General Motors construction projects.
• 3+ years experience as a Mechanical or Electrical Construction Inspector.
• Computer proficient in MS Office.

Preferred Requirements:

• Preferred experience in AutoCAD.
• Prefer working knowledge of the GM 1638 General Construction specifications and GM Contract Manager Software.

• Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
• Relocation and per diem support are not available for this position.

URS Corporation is seeking a Field Coordinator to be based in our Springhill, TN location.

Level Specific Responsibilities:

• Assist URS Project Manager to manage the project in accordance with GM Project Management Process (PMP)
• Coordinate all CM field activities on site
• Interface with stakeholders at the site (contractors, ME, Production, etc.)
• Answer Technical questions
• Monitor As-built drawing documentation Function as the focal point for all field coordination
• Chair weekly field coordination meetings
• Monitor contractor schedule compliance
• Monitor contractor quality assurance
