Job Description:

Minimum Requirements:

Candidate must possess the following qualities and capabilities:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, COTS system integration, and software architecture and design
• 5+ years of experience developing web applications (including 3-years with Microsoft .NET technologies)
• 4-year degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Candidate should have 5+ years working in team environment
• In-depth experience with C# and ASP .NET 4.0 with experience with MVC
• Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL for implementing database-driven, web-based applications using T-SQL/PL-SQL and Stored Procedures
• Excellent verbal communication skills, as well as strong problem solving abilities and an aptitude for learning new technologies
• Strong leadership, organizational and prioritization skills
• Self-motivated, creative and strong sense of accountability
• Candidate must be US Citizen and eligible for TS Security Clearance.

Candidate must be highly proficient in:

• Visual Studio web development
• ASP.NET, C#, .Net Platform 4.0, Visual Studio 2010
• Microsoft ASP.Net MVC 3.0 Framework
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML
• Relational database design and development (PL/SQL and ORACLE experience is a plus)

Experience in the following strongly desired:
• Agile software development methodology
• Team Foundation Server
• jQuery, JSON
• BPM integration
• Adobe SDKs and/or third-party PDF libraries

URS is looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our team in Bethesda, Maryland!

Primary responsibilities include:

• Software Development in Bethesda, MD; normal business hours with occasional surges as needed.

• Development will be done using multiple COTS tools (Visual Studio, Metastorm BPM, Corticon Rules Engine, ESRI GIS, Adobe LiveCycle).

• Candidate must be US Citizen and eligible for TS Security Clearance.
