Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, construction related field or equivalent experience
PE License in the State of New York
Five years of experience in electrical and mechanical systems and knowledge of construction activities on active job sites
Solid working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and principles
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite 2010, Adobe PDF Acrobat Reader, etc).
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Valid Driver's License
Must obtain negative result on drug screen performed in accordance with URS drug testing policy

URS is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Project Electrical Engineer for immediate employment for the NYC area. URS is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects.
Independently capable of managing electrical and mechanical capital improvement projects and preparing necessary monthly reports. Verifies that standards and codes are followed. Plans, schedules and coordinates phases of engineering work. Resolves issues or conflicts of specs and requirements. Assists tasks and leads less experienced electrical engineers. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to those stated above.
