We are looking to hire an Air Quality Instrumentation Technician II to support work in the Northeastern US .
Skills/Training : The successful candidate must have good hands-on equipment maintenance and calibration skills plus be able to perform multitasks, willing to perform extended travel including weekends, work at heights and in occasionally challenging field environments, have good organizational and communication skills, and have excellent basic computer skills ( Excel , Word, Powerpoint, Database skills).
Job Description :
Reporting to the AECOM Harvard Lab Section Manager, the successful applicant must be willing to travel for extended periods, performing in-house preparation plus field installations, calibrations, performance audits for source emissions measurement / characterization projects plus ambient air monitoring programs. Successful candidate must be willing to be cross-utilized and work in multidiscipline business areas. This person will also learn to perform fabrication, installation and field support of air quality monitoring systems, to operate and troubleshoot ( field portable, air quality and laboratory) analytical instrumentation, to correspond and communicate with AECOM project managers to answer project related technical questions and to respond to client requests.
