Minimum Requirements:

Education:

• Successful completion of a full course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with a major in Engineering, or a related discipline, and DAU Level II certification in Life Cycle Logistics, or the civilian equivalent, are required.

Experience:

• Eight (8) years of general experience and five (4) years of experience in a program office or similar organization

Requirements:

• Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain a clearance

Job Description:

• URS Corporation is looking for a Risk Management Specialist that have experience with government contracts, to join their team supporting the Stafford, VA office. This position will report to the Product Manager. Programs consist of multi-year execution of multiple engineering projects, and FFP projects.

Job duties:

• Perform all aspects of Risk Management

• Manage a reporting process for the timely identification and investigation of all adverse incidents and customer inquiries associated with contract performance.

• Initiates and pursues all insurance claims related to adverse incidents. Prepares deliverable documentation pertaining to adverse incidents and property claims.

• Additionally, apply technical knowledge with regard to interpretation of specifications, requirements, and technical data.
