ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The Human Resources Administrator provides administrative support to the Field Services department within the Human Resources function as it pertains to compensation, performance management, staff development/recruitment, organization development, and training.  S/he is responsible for supporting human resource programs, procedures, and plans, and will provide assistance to HR management staff on various HR-related issues.

Specific administrative responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Managing TNC’s Leadership Development Program logistics, including materials processing, building workshop calendars, remotely setting up and administering location logistics, catering, travel information, etc.
  • Managing new employee and exit survey information
  • Assisting with updating and improving the HR intranet page
  • Assisting with the TNC Onboarding Network, aimed at helping new employees learn about the organization in a consistent and beneficial way
  • Coordinating various HR payroll/benefits expense procedures such as relocation and severance expense reversals, background screening and recruitment advertising charge backs to state chapters and country programs
  • Running ad hoc PeopleSoft query reports for HR management staff
  • Providing monthly HR data reports to HR management staff and field operations staff
  • Serving as back-up point of contact for HR Specialists
  • Coordinating efforts on special project activities within assigned functions

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associate’s degree and 1 year of experience in an office setting, or equivalent combination.
  • Experience organizing files or related. 
  • Experience working with MS Office software.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Knowledge of word processing, database management, and spreadsheet software, with ability to construct and produce reports.
  • Experience working with PeopleSoft HRMS system.
  • Basic understanding of, or willingness and ability to learn, fundamental HR concepts, processes, and services.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION
  • This position is scheduled for 21 hours per week, with the expectation to move to full time in fiscal year 2014 (June 1, 2013).
