AECOM is seeking a talented executive to serve in a key strategic role within our North America Environmental Business line. The Director, Performance Based Projects will focus on the growth and development of our performance- based projects and business. This is an excellent career opportunity to build and develop a key market sector initiative within our North America Environmental capability. This multi-faceted role will include strategic planning, execution of the strategic plan, leadership of the business development/capture process, oversight of capture teams, and project management/leadership on select projects.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of fifteen years of experience in groundwater remediation and heavy civil projects including project management and leadership roles. Desired qualifications also include a strong background in firm fixed-price contracts as well as a track-record of successful business development/capture accomplishments. In addition, the preferred candidate will have experience with performance-based and stop-loss insurance contracts. This role will function at a high level within our matrix organization and requires strong internal/external communication and collaboration skills. Experience working with AFCEE and the US Army Corps of Engineers is required. Bachelors degree in civil engineering or related discipline required; PE registration preferred.
This position will travel approximately 50% and may be based in one of AECOM’s North America offices.
